My Friend Lovie ( https://www.youtube.com/@myfriendlovie ) is a preschool animated series centered around a heart-shaped character who changes color with her emotions. The show blends imaginative play with social-emotional learning, helping kids understand and navigate their feelings in a visually engaging and accessible way.
As Animation Supervisor on Seasons 1 and 2 of My Friend Lovie, I led the animation department across multiple episodes in simultaneous production, overseeing both creative quality and team performance throughout the series pipeline. Managing a team of approximately 10–15 animators, I was responsible for establishing animation direction, maintaining consistency in character performance and emotional readability, optimizing shot distribution, and ensuring on-time delivery across overlapping production schedules through close collaboration with production, editorial, and creative leadership.
In addition, I developed custom pipeline tools through coding and workflow automation, enabling a faster, more scalable
production process while allowing the team to focus more on performance quality and storytelling.
